Features of the 555 Chainsaw include AutoTune which allows the saw to be operated in varying altitudes, humidities and temperatures as it will adjust its engine settings accordingly Furthermore, LowVib helps to reduce vibration in the chainsaw body, allowing for easier and more comfortable use during lengthened periods.

Finishing touches of the Husqvarna 555 include Air Injection, Smart Start for easier engine start-up, felling marks on the body and a side-mounted chain tensioner for easy access and adjustment of the chain. Not only this but the 55 comes with a fuel pump, inertia chain brake for improved safety and a visible fuel level allowing for easy fuel level maintenance.
