Louis Jadot, Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules, 2003 ETA 8/18/25] Sourced from small plots aroundClos des Ursules is a walled two hectare parcel inside the Beaune 1er Cru of Les Vignes Franches, and Louis Henry Denis Jadot bought it in 1826, thirty three years before the Jadot firm itself existed. Before that it belonged to the Ursuline convent in Beaune, which is where the name comes from. It sits mid slope on Beaune's southern hill toward Pommard, below Clos des Mouches and Les Aigrots, and it is a monopole farmed by Domaine des Heritiers Louis
