Prager, Sigfrid - Signed Photograph Autographs Singers E-H Covent Garden: Georges Prêtre -German born conductor and composer (1889 ?), began his career conducting opera and symphonic music in Germany, Italy, and Argentina, later settled in the United States, becoming the chief conductor of the Civic Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in Madison, Wisconsin in 1926. Signed photograph, inscribed with sentiment, dated in 1931. Photo by Theatrical photos, Chicago. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small creases and bends, otherwise in very good condition.
