Jake Meginsky has collaborated and performed with such artists as Milford Graves, Alvin Lucier, Joan La Barbara, and many others. Music critic David Keenan called Meginsky's 2014 solo record, L'appel Du Vide, "a hallucinatory electro percussion masterpiece" and in the WIRE Magazine, Nick Cain wrote, "the album uses little more than a couple of sounds, extracting often head spinning complexity from a minimum of means."

Useful, simple room divider

All the pieces were accounted for, and some even had extra pieces, maybe just in case they need changing. It was a bit like putting together a piece of IKEA furniture, though I went slower than usual so as not to make any mistakes. It wasn’t too hard to put together myself, and helps give my studio apt a feeling of space and privacy for my bed. I only wish it had a lovely Japanese design on it, but it does amazingly seem to match the wall color.

This is soooooo very cool to use. It allows me to use it in so many other sockets that I could never really use due to their location. It makes it easy to swivel the plug to the position needed. It is sturdy, a good price, and the cord length is just right. I will carry one in each of my backpacks & computer bags, as well as it will replace most of my extensions.
The weight was right so that I could put it in my backpacks and having all of the outlets makes it very useful.
